Well Bart, you can get a 7-day free trial, which is plenty of time to secure a couple of dates. I think you can use it once every 30 days or so. Just don't get hooked!

Yeah. if they write with broken english, and talk about "meeting man of dreams" its best to avoid them. LOL. I learned that lesson.

I'll probably try Match or a paying site again, sometime. I can't really afford it right now.

Hey Bart. Obviously, I really like match.com and have had pretty good success with them. I know it's frustrating to not have your messages read just because the women aren't subscribers, but I've feel that it has a bit of a "weed-out" effect. Lots of the free sites are full of even creepier guys who than those on match.com, and that seems like it scares away lots of the quality women.

OkCupid has just been fun for me - only a couple of dates. Maybe I should try out Plentyoffish again. I remember I tried Yahoo like 7 years ago, and all I found on there was spammers. Now, *that* is frustrating: signing up for a site just to e-mail one particular woman, just to get a "come see my webcam" in response. Fortunately I've learned how to identify these profiles over the years.

I just tried "Datehookup.com" and I stayed there for about a minute. I wasn't impressed with any of the ladies I saw on there.

I tried Match.com for several months, I tried several different things. I think the fact that you must be a paying member either hurts it or it really helps. I'm not sure which, I'm gravitating to thinking that it hurts it. Sure, they make tons of money, but the end user has to pay for every single feature on there. You even have to pay extra to see if they read your message or not. Most the time, for example out of 20 messages, 10 of the ones I sent out got read. Which means the 10 that didn't probably weren't paying members. I don't really want to see a picture of a pretty girl, read her profile, etc, only to find out that she can't be reached. That just sucks.

During that time I was using Mach, I talked with a few girls, but I didn't get a date with any of them.

I'm currently using Plentyoffish, Okcupid and Yahoo. I've had dates through all 3 of these.

I don't know much about Bonny Albo, but I don't think I trust her advice.
